The path to be cleared starts in Cornwall Copse, near the Cornwall Centre, and continues through Barefoot's Copse until it reaches Hawthorn Close.
The first section to be cleared was in Cornwell Copse where the felling of trees, possibly a consequence of storm damage, had resulted in an upsurge in bramble which was starting to block the path.
Next to be tackled was the length of path between Cornwall and Barefoot's Copse where the overhanging vegetation was the main problem.
Before and after.
Before and after.
The final section of path to be cleared, located in Barefoot's Copse, where again bramble was starting to encroach following the felling of trees.
All the local residents we met during the task expressed their appreciation of our work. A satisfying day!
