CROW (Conserve Reading on Wednesdays)

The Cowsey, Whitley ~ Glade creation and pond maintenance

We were to have had a bonfire to clear some of the brash created during previous visits but the strong winds curtailed our activities, although we did manage to do some work continuing to open paths and create glades. We also took the opportunity to remove rubbish which had been deposited in the pond.

Rubbish was not all that had been deposited in the pond, which we were pleased to find contained a considerable quantity of frog spawn.
