Padworth Common ~ Scrub clearance

A narrow band of birch and pine scrub isolating a small area of heath from the rest of the Common was to be thinned and in places cleared.

Although less frosty than in the preceding days the remaining pools of water, a reminder of the recent heavy rains, where still covered with ice.
