The day started with clearing overgrowing vegetation along a section of the footpath on the south side of the common.
Most of the vegetation to be cut back was gorse which is always a joy to handle.
Having completed the clearance we began spreading woodchip along muddy part of the bridle way, also on the south side of the common.
Amongst the woodchip we found this slowworm.
