Padworth Common ~ Scrub clearance

No bonfire was allowed the Common being to dry at the end of the summer, as we removed birch scrub from this area of heath. In the future it is possible that machinery will be used to manage the smaller scrub in areas such as this. In the meantime we will dream of a winter's bonfire to clear what we have cut and of the baked potatoes it might provide.
