With the bluebells approaching their best we returned to Rushall Farm for a second week anticipating a continuation of the woodland clearance started the week before. Instead we were asked to clear along one of the tracks which lead from the farm into the woodland.
Coffee time and John who manages the woodland had kindly brought along a chocolate cake.
Lunchtime and the bonfire means for a second week there are baked potatoes .....
..... together with more chocolate cake for those who can manage it!
End of the task but there is one final treat .....
..... a trip through the woodland on the trailer to see how the rides we have opened in previous years are progressing.
Primrose and wood spurge are amongst the flowers to be seen in areas where previously little grew beneath the dense canopy.
Back at base!
