At the end of April volunteers from CROW helped prepare an area for a wildflower meadow. The area was subsequently sown with a cornfield mix the result of which is now starting to be seen.
Cornflower, corn marigold, corn chamomile and occasional field poppy are amongst the flowers currently to be seen.

The willow tree brought down by the winter's storms across a nearby path remains where it fell.
